Aquarella Lettuce Scarf
Progress

Knitting small scarves throughout the year to stock up for Christmas presents turned out to be a great idea. I love the texture of this yarn, and the bulky way it knits up for scarves. It isn’t quite as soft as I’d like for a scarf, but it will do.
I decided to create a bit of a slanting ribbing, which turned out to be incredibly easy. Just shift the rib one stitch to the left or right every four rows.
What Have I Learned?
It’s not necessary to designate a certain item for someone as a gift. It’s kind of handy to just knit something you know you’ll give away, to have something handknit to give at the last minute. Plus, it takes the pressure off closer to gift giving time (like Christmas!).
