Chevron Scarf
This is a scarf pattern that I have been working on lately, which was inspired by a simple triangle shawl. I was thinking that it would be cool to have the triangular shape of the shawl in a rectangular scarf. I made the practice scarf with the leftover sock yarn from my honeymoon sock, and loved it! The self striping yarn was the perfect thing for this piece.
This is my own pattern that I will some day write up and post once I get the minor details fixed and worked out. I plan to buy just the right self-striping yarn to create this scarf again (this time in real scarf length).
What have I learned?
I realized while working on this project that I really enjoy the creative process of constructing my own idea. I enjoy creating a pattern that is mine, and when it works it feels so satisfying.
