Corey's SockThis is the second pair of socks that I ever made, part of a pair whose other half were the first pair of socks I made. This pair was for Corey, as the other was for me: honeymoon socks!

I managed to figure out where I made my mistakes on the first pair of socks, and not do it on this pair. It turns out that I knit with DPNs the wrong way, or so it seems to me. I knit on the inside of the needles, instead of on the outside. This basically puts the right side of the stockinette stitch on the inside. This is not a problem, as long as I make sure to turn the sock right side out before I get to the toe, and continue from there knitting what is backwards for me.
Finished Honeymoon Sock 1Being my second pair of socks, managed to do the heel mostly without needing tons of references. I also did the modified toe that I did on my pair, which seems to fit a normal foot better. The pattern creates a toe that’s too pointy, and squishes the pinky toe.

What Have I Learned?

Not much was new with this pair, as it was nearly identical to the first pair except for sizing differences. Knitting socks is fun!

Beware knitting socks for family. They will want more!
