I love the idea of knitting small threads, and love even more adding beads to it. This pattern gave me a knew idea for my knitting, one that’s got new project ideas going around and around in my head. These were a quick knit, and the beads make them sparkle. The photos really don’t do them justice.

These are also great projects because they don’t cost a whole lot. The beads and thread are very inexpensive, and were a great way to satisfy my need to create inexpensively.

Also, what a great gift!!

What Have I Learned?

I’ve learned how to knit with beads, and that it’s really quite easy. I also figured out how to thread the beads onto the thread using wire, because the needle was too big. Unfortunately knitting with such small needles and thread can be more uncomfortable, but they don’t take nearly as long to knit, so my hands get a rest.
I’ve got some ideas to create my own bracelet patterns, as well as perhaps a beaded change purse, and other small sorts of things. The beads are just really fun and sparkly!
