Serendipitous Head Scarf
Progress
progress 100%
I just happened to remember the perfect pattern in a magazine for the idea for a head scarf that I had. It was serendipity because that pattern used exactly the same yarn brand and type and needles that I had already bought for the project! I followed all of the instructions for the pattern, except I didn’t do the I-cord ties and made it much much longer.
This project was really fun to knit, because it was easy and took a bit of thought at the same time. There was enough variation in the stitches to keep me from getting bored, but it was simple enough that I could get into a rhythm and just knit. It was an easy project to like anyways, because it was such a quick knit.
What Have I Learned?
I have a feeling I’m going to become a conscientious consumer whenever I can with my yarn purchases. I read a little about the company that this yarn comes from, and it turned out to have been produced by a non-profit cooperative in Bolivia.
