		<description>&lt;p&gt;Basically I bound off a few stitches on one row, and then coming back on the other row I did a backwards loop cast-on the same number of stitches. I&#039;m not sure where the extra strand came from, so I&#039;d have to figure that out before I knew what to do with it.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;I don&#039;t mind button holes, I&#039;m a fan of simple the yo, k2tog 1-stitch kind.  But I&#039;ve done a reinforced multi-stitch kind that was worked like a short row - bit of pain.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Not sure on your type of button hole, but could you pick up that strand when you knit?  Like you when you pick up a wrap after a short row?&lt;/p&gt;
